Generally Central Sterile Supply Departments are not planned during initial layout planning. It is planned after designing all the amenities in the OT floor. Unfortunately, this leads to various complications later to the entire system. Being most crucial infection control has to be given the utmost priority while designing the CSSD. Hospitals provide single room with single door as CSSD, mostly it is mentioned or marked as autoclave.
